Her mum was calling out to her in the library today. About 3 years old. Didnt speak to her mum so unsure if it was a nickname or her full name. I was wondering when I would meet a little one with this name

Oh dear, that's horrendous Sad

I do hope it was a nickname.

It actually suited her and she seemed a very sweet little girl.

I would have originally thought it would have been a bad choice but it did seem to suit her.

I'd hope it was a nickname. We call my toddler "moo-moo" but it is not actually his name...

RooneyMara · 07/12/2012 13:45

Probably Gabrielle or something

SweetMingePie · 07/12/2012 13:48

Probably a nickname, nobody would be that cruel. We call ds3 Toady all the time, never thought people might think its his real name.

GalaxyDisaster · 07/12/2012 13:48

My DD is sometimes called YaYa. Not her actual name though, and bears no real relation to it.

Alisvolatpropiis · 08/12/2012 12:04

Yaya (or Yahya) is a real name,it's African (can't remember where exactly) Xmas Smile

Bluestocking · 08/12/2012 12:12

Are you in the UK, OP?

Bluestocking · 08/12/2012 12:13

Alis, Yahya is a Muslim name - it's the Arabic form of John.

PrincessMononoke · 08/12/2012 12:15

Dt's call their Grandad Gaga, we forget how silly it sounds till we are calling him in public and then we do this Blush.

I also have a toddler called moo or mooey.

3boysgirlontheway · 09/12/2012 17:02

My grandmother (RIP) was called Ganggang probably sounded weird to everyone who ever heard it.

GalaxyDisaster · 09/12/2012 17:04

So it's a boy's name, but a genuine name? See, this just proves that I am very cultured Smile
