I'd love to know, rather bored, what Mumsnetters have called their dcs if you love their names and are willing to share.

It'd be appreciated if this could be a criticism free thread. I'm pretty harsh with names myself at time, but this isn't the thread for it.

I've taught a female Etienne. It really suited her.

PickledFanjoCat · 21/11/2012 11:10

Dosent hurt unless your planning to emigrate I suppose.

Might even be bull I'm not well versed in French but I found it rather funny!

TessOfTheBaublevilles · 21/11/2012 12:26

Étienne is indeed a French form of Stephen. The feminine form is Étiennette.

CPtart · 21/11/2012 12:56

Adam James and Luke William

UsedToBeAContender · 21/11/2012 13:01

Mine have lovely names but are more commonly known as
"Stop it", "Put that down" and "Please don't eat that!" Grin

Alice and Adelaide

Haylebop12 · 21/11/2012 14:11

Amelia

Not as popular as you think... Only one in her nursery class of 60.

BananaBubbles · 21/11/2012 14:11

Why the hell would I want to know your bank account details?Hmm You don't have to share if you don't want to you know.

However I find Henry, Harry, Joshua and lily quite common the last few years

BananaBubbles · 21/11/2012 14:16

That was to Trills btw.

Anyway to answer my own question,I have no children yet,but when I do a boy will probably be Ivor,Cade or Angus, and a girl,Sarah,Genevieve or Harriet.

both are the only ones in their year group but I did worry about Ella!

Papyrus · 21/11/2012 16:01

I have Eliza, Henry, Annie, Clara and Imogen.

Poor DD4 is four weeks old and still has no middle name! Blush

I have a Matilda, and am currently trying to decide for DC2 due next year Smile

rezzle · 21/11/2012 17:01

DS is Harley. I absolutely adore his name but do sometimes worry if I made the right choice due to the criticism it receives.

PickledFanjoCat · 21/11/2012 17:02

I have a nephew called Harley.

It gets a slating on here but I think it's a lovely name.

Psammead · 21/11/2012 17:19

Lucia
Francesca

Nineties · 21/11/2012 18:25

Adore the name Adelaide!!! Fantastic.

I don't have any kids yet but love love love names.

My favourite girls' names are Avery, Allegra, Alberta, Alyssa... lots of As! Blythe, Elizabeth, Charlotte, Portia, Violet.... too many!

baskingseals · 21/11/2012 18:37

Alexandra, Theo and Gus.

tbh i wouldn't choose any of them again. they were all massive massive comprimises.

baskingseals · 21/11/2012 18:38

compromises - sorry they are driving me potty!

blameitonthecaffeine · 21/11/2012 18:55

Natasha, Rebecca, Matilda, Isabella and Abigail

The only one I have any regrets at all about is Isabella but only because there are so many of them.

MoreThanJustAMum · 21/11/2012 19:12

Mine are Ellena, Elias, Ethan and Emin. The 1st 3 'E's were completely accidental, the last one just had to be!
