boys names - my short list - what do you think?

We want to use Arthur as a middle name (family name)

So far DH and i have a short list of:

Warren (my favourite but ive had a negative reaction from the few people i have told and its making me really unsure?)

Theo (is this becoming too popular?)

Aaron (DH likes this one its not grown on me yet?)

Samuel (i love this name but 2 close friends have recently used this so its sort of ruled out)

Would appreciate your opinions

Warren and Aaron are both awful imo and quite dated, for me they're in the same bracket as Vince, Tony, Claire, Sharon etc

Theo is nice, but very popular, I know about 10 under 7.

Samuel is lovely (though also quite popular).

Warren - rabbit
Theo - like if short for Theodore. Lots of "th" with Arthur though.
Aaron - like, or how about Adam or Aidan?
Samuel - very nice, or how about Samson, Saul, Solomon?

I don't mind Warren, think it's due a revival. Aaron is a great, solid classic name too. Or how about Reuben, Quentin or Casper?

Theo and Sam are quite trendy so and widely used already.

i came here to pinch names for our shortlist :-D warrens already on it but we know a warren quite well and we dont want to tell him its on the list. we also have archie and dexter

Not liking Warren at all - it reminds me of that old rabbit joke. Not fond of Aaron and have taught a lot of naughty ones.

Like Samuel and Theo though neither of them excite me much - but they are good solid names.

Like Theo the best by far.

Not keen on Warren at all, Aaron is slightly better, Samuel is ok.

If you like it that's really all that matters. It can be quite hard to find something you do like and I for one am tired of trying to think of a name that people in rl will like, rather than using the name I've wanted for the past 6 years!

I know two baby boys with Arthur as a middle name. One is Morgan Arthur and one is Henry Arthur.

Of your name choices, I like Theo the best.

Warren - sorry don't like

Theo - like but not sure about Theo Arthur, works better with Theodore Arthur nn Theo

Aaron - ok but doesn't go with middle name Aaron Arthur

Samuel - like, sounds best with middle name Samuel Arthur

James Arthur would be great. I personally like Theo. I also really like Aaron and disagree that Aaron Arthur doesn't go - I think it does and A.A. YourSurname would sound pretty cool actually.

Theo and Sam are both lovely... Agree Warren us awful though!!
