Marsha. I like it as it has soft sound to it and is not popular but not too unusual either. What are your thoughts? What do you think of when you hear the name? Is it too old fashioned? Any opinions much appreciated.

It could work. Not too old-fashioned, although given I spend a lot of time outdoors, I did think of marshes as in wet muddy places...

I like it. It has a nice 60's/70's vibe and it reminds me of the Brady Bunch.

I like it but prefer Marcia.

I just hear "Marcia, Marcia, Marcia!" from the Brady Bunch.

I hear Marsha the lush from Spaced, but that said it's a nice name.

How rude to say Adele is a fat name! Does that mean Keira is a 'skinny' name?

Sorry I have somehow posted on the wrong thread Confused

Marsha is pretty Smile with that spelling you avoid the whole Marsha/Marseeya issue you might get with Marcia spelling.

Rhubarbgarden · 15/10/2012 18:12

Nice but I prefer Marcia.

Marshes, swamps, mud.

Marcia is nice if pronounced Mar-see-a.
