That's it, really.

It's a 4 yo chocolate coloured labradoodle bitch. We dont like it's current name.

I want a two syllable name, that doesn't sound bizarre when being bellowed in the woods.

(Yes, I know it should be in The Doghouse, but I thought it would be fun to name dogs instead of babies for a change.)

Stratters.

PickledFanjoCat · 10/10/2012 21:12

I heard of a dog called Linda the other day.

Really made me smile!

BoysBoysBoysAndMe · 10/10/2012 21:12

Buttons (as in chocolate)

OwedToAutumn · 10/10/2012 21:16

Oooooh! I like Buttons! (Not sure about Stratters - seems a bit disrespectful.)

Keep 'em coming!

I don't think it's disrespectful to call a dog Stratters Grin

YouMayLogOut · 10/10/2012 21:50

Honey or Dragon would be nice names :o

Pickles77 · 10/10/2012 21:51

Hamish!

pegster · 10/10/2012 21:53

There are many, many chocolate lab types called Coco. I have met one called Hershey which I thought was quite cute.
Currently I like granny-chic names for pets so I would go for Vera or Rita or Betty

BoysBoysBoysAndMe · 10/10/2012 21:56

Truffle

YouMayLogOut · 10/10/2012 21:56

Snowy Wink

OwedToAutumn · 10/10/2012 21:57

I like Hershey, but DH doesn't.

Luckily it's a bitch, or DH would plump for Keith, Trevor or Dave.

We have another pet called Truffle.

But Snowy! That would be quite fun, as we have a Westie, so Snowy would be delightfully bizarre.

Lola (Lolly)
Bella
Polly
Katie

PandaWatch · 11/10/2012 17:11

What is the dog's current name? May be easier to use something relatively similar (although saying that our dog has about 8 nicknames that he responds to that don't sound anything like his name!)

MrsVamoOOOOOs · 11/10/2012 17:12

Sherry
Brandy

NervousAt20 · 11/10/2012 17:14

If the dogs 4 you might really struggle to change her name now. Not sure about girl names but I LOVE the name Dave for a dog Smile
