That is our short list. I can't say I've found a name I love, apart from Jacob, but Jacob is way way way too popular for me to consider now :(

Any opinions on the names? Thinking of Elijah. Have an Ethan already.

We have an Elijah and it never gets shortened to Eli so I wouldn't be concerned about it. He's also the only one we know.

I always liked Elias too

Do people pronounce Elijah as Ee-li-jar, or El-i-ja?!

I pronounce it El-i-ja, rightly or wrongly I don't know.

I have a 9 year old Elijah. We pronounce with a soft 'j' not a hard 'j' (as in jam).
He does get called ELi mostly though!
I would avoid 2 'E' names, personally. I like Jonah and Luca with Ethan.
