I'm looking for c girls name that starts with f and ends in an a sound. Already have a Farrah and it can't be Fiona.
All suggestions would be so appreciated.

Freya. Finoula (probably not spelled right). Fenella.

Dogsmom · 02/10/2012 13:37

Freda, Freya, Francesca?

Lancelottie · 02/10/2012 13:37

Flora
Francesca
... but won't it get a bit confusing, both for letters and for calling two daughters with similar names?

FunnyBird · 02/10/2012 13:38

Fabia.

hellsbells99 · 02/10/2012 16:18

Phoebe! Will save confusion with the post etc if they have different initials .....and it sounds like it begins with an 'F' :)

MrsHuxtable · 02/10/2012 16:23

I have a Frieda (Frederika) and am living in fear of it becoming popular...
Go for Flora! Wink

MrsHuxtable · 02/10/2012 16:28

Names, in my opinion, only work if you have the nationality/heritage to go with it so I think Francesca, Federica only works for Spanish/Italians etc, Frederika, Frieda for Germans, Scandinavians at a push.

SomewhereInCanada · 02/10/2012 16:29

Fenella makes me think of Chorlton and the Wheelies. Oh god, that makes me feel old!

Loving Freida!

baskingseals · 02/10/2012 16:32

Philippa

TittyWhistles · 02/10/2012 16:33

Not quite 'a' sound but what about 'Phoebe'?

Or 'Phaedre' which Is the girls name I worship and adore, secretly.
