It would be interesting if we all listed the DCs in our kids class...

...at school, but I know it'd 'out' a fair few MNetters! Maybe one with the 5 most 'out there' names omitted? If there were any! I'd start but I'd need the school photo to crib from!

In my DC's classes there are no silly made-up names/spellings. It's a very multicultural school so quite a lot of Irish, Polish, Italian, Spanish and other nationalities names. A couple of unusual/not used very often names. The rest are all fairly 'normal', in the top 100 names. Loads of;

William
Henry
Alexander
Liam
James
Theo
Samuel
Ryan

Ellie
Lucy
Olivia
Charlotte
Erin
Katie

But omitting the 'out there' names is just going to produce a list of top 50 UK names - a little dull perhaps. Mine would be Dylan, William, Harry, Finn, Evie, Isabella, Ella, Sophie.....

How about just listing a few names outside the top 100? In our school these include:
Athena
Riya
Aneurin
Quentin
Inigo

The most "out there" name in DD1's school is Ptolomey. He's in the year below her in reception.

All the others in the school are just the run of the mill
Jacks, Bens, Toms etc.
