Eoin - ok, prefer spelling Ian/Iain
Lachlan - again, ok though may have pronounciation problems (ie L-o-chlan or Lach-lan?)
Seth - like v much, only would be bit wary in case he had a lisp!

Matylda - Matilda is ok, bit trendy, why the strange spelling though?
Stella - love
Breagh - ok, not sure
Astor/Aster - prefer Esther or Astrid, both of which are lovely
Ursula - quite like, think will be a bit ahead of the trend
Darcy - dislike, possibly bit common
Orlaith - love
Isla - love, but yes very popular and becoming more so.

In summary, I really like Seth Stella, Orlaith (although Isla would be my favourite if not for popularity issue!)

Seth for a boy
Aster, Stella or Darcy for a girl

WizardofOs · 18/09/2012 17:29

Funnily enough I have a Seth and wanted an Aster but DH was having none of it.

From your boys list I only like Seth and from your girls I only like Stella and Aster.

Eoin - Is this pn Ian? Like Ian.
Lachlan - OK
Seth - Love this

Matylda - Love this but as someone else has said why not Matilda?
Stella - Not keen
Breagh - OK not sure how it's pn?
Astor/Aster - Aster is quite nice
Ursula - LOVE this
Darcy - Not keen
Orlaith - Like this
Isla - It's a pretty name but it has become very popular very quickly

Overall I like Seth and Ursula, closely followed by Matilda from your lists.

Eoin is pronounced Owen, it's my DH's name!

Kelerina · 18/09/2012 18:12

Eoin is Owen just spelt differently. I just think it's nicer, same with Matylda.

Seth is looking popular!

Quite like Silas- not sure DP would agree though!!

Not v fond tbh. Dislike all of your boys' names I'm afraid and particularly dislike Seth - but who am I? Ignore me!

I do like Darcy for a girl. I like Owen but not Eoin.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 18/09/2012 18:14

Silas makes even Seth look nice. Sorry but it is a dreadful name.
