Please help. I thought we had our names sorted but turns out they were too similar to the names we have. They were emilia and freya and we loved them so am so stuck!

Harriet and Annabel are really pretty.. don't really understand why you can't use emilia and freya?

ditsydoll · 17/09/2012 20:50

How about Amelia instead of Emelia?

Mindy101 · 17/09/2012 20:55

Yay. Thank you Ditsydoll. Put a thread up a while ago and everyone said they were too similar and it would be too confusing.i was so confused then.
Some nice suggestions above though so thank you but finding it hard to like names as much as emilia and freya!

Demelzajane · 17/09/2012 20:57

Do YOU think they are too similar? Personally I don't so if you love them go for it.

Mindy101 · 17/09/2012 21:02

I think they match well I can see why people would think they're similar guess it made me second guess myself!

Aspiemum2 · 17/09/2012 21:05

I think they're lovely and not too similar at all. If they are the names you love then no others will compare
Go for it Grin

ditsydoll · 17/09/2012 21:07

I don't think you have to change them. If you like them then go for it, they are your children. I find it a lot more confusing when people give their children the same name as their father or mother... surely that gets confusing when shouting it round the house? I think they are beautiful names, something I would use personally and go well with the other nans which are also really lovely.

Gwennan · 17/09/2012 21:08

Eliana, Emilia, Freya, Farrah - definitely too matchy for sisters.

ditsydoll · 17/09/2012 21:08

Other names* lol

SirGOLDBoobs · 17/09/2012 21:15

I think they're way too similar. Sorry.

Some of the other names suggested on here are really nice.

Aspiemum2 · 17/09/2012 21:20

Ah, sorry - missed your other daughters names. It is a bit if a tongue twister if I'm honest but it is still up to you, doesn't really matter what others think

I do LOVE phoebe and isla though as someone else suggested

Gwennan · 17/09/2012 21:25

GoldPlatedNineDoors · 17/09/2012 23:50
