Baby Girl name opinions!!!

Hello, I'm still trying to decide on a name for my baby girl due in 7 weeks.
These are some of our current favs;

Jessica James

Taylor James or Tayla James

Amelia James

Emma James

Please can you pass on your suggestions.

Is James your surname? Please don't call your daughter Tayla

With a plain surname like James you could afford to be pretty adventurous with the first name. With the exception of Taylor, I like your other names but they sound quite bland with James.

What about someting a bit fancier?

Emma is lovely and my fave from your list. Amelia and Jessica are both pretty though Amelia is very very popular at the moment. Not keen on surnames as first names like Taylor (Tayla is even worse).

What about Amelie as a variation of Amelia?

You've got three VERY popular names in there and one that I don't like at all (Taylor - and esp. Tayla). Agree that with a plain surname like James you might want to choose something a bit longer and more interesting. Emma James is fine, but a bit boring IMO. amcks suggestions are nice.

Jessica, Amelia and Emma are all nice.

How about Lucy, Melissa, Olivia, Natalie, Anna, Clara, Emily, Catherine, Louisa?

Amelia James - Amelia is lovely but with your surname it reminds me of Amelia Jane, the naughtiest doll (Enid Blyton :) )

I like Jessica but there is the Jesse James connection...not necessarily a bad thing, just pointing it out.
Taylor is ok (Tayla is not!)
Amelia is very popular but a pretty name
Emma is ok, bores me a little (sorry!)
