French or traditional suggestions for a girl...

So...need one suggestions for DC2 if it's a girl...

I like :

  • Eloise
  • Alexandra (canot use it sadly)
  • Zara (though I may be going off this slightly)

DH likes:

  • Charlotte
  • Elizabeth

I really don't like cutesy names...Milly, Tilly etc...just not my style.
Seem to quite like french and traditional names.

So...any suggestions for other options...?

My dd is Elodie and I'd like another French name if we had dd2 so am enjoying your thread, there's some lovely names here.

My friend is Amandine, her sisters are Delphine and Adeline. On my list for DD were Elizabeth, Katherine, Rebecca, Charlotte and Louise. She is Elizabeth Katherine. The trouble with the cutesy names is kids grow up.
My friend's neice is Molly Mae. "Hello, I'm Molly Mae and I shall be doing your open heart surgery today." Er, no!

Am still loving Eloise.
I wanted it for DC1...but 'twas a boy!

I then went off it a bit at the beginning of this pregnancy....but have recently come round to it again...

Not sure DH will go for it...will continue my quest And include it inA. List of suggestions for his consideration!

Keep them coming if you have any othe brilliant ideas!
