Beatrice with an Irish surname?

I love the name Beatrice but just wondered if it will sound strange with an Irish O'..... surname? Our ds has a very Irish name and it works well, but I don't love any Irish girls names. Too many associations I think with all of them, I mean alot of lovely names but we always already know someone with the name (we live in Ireland).

I know a Beatrice O' - we call her 'Bo' as a nickname.

I think its a perfectly fine combo.

Although there is a new thread on here about Irish girls names, and I've read a few on their I've not heard before (I'm Irish too), might be worth having a glance over it, see if there is a name you've just not noticed, if you're not comfortable with the combination?
