Son is due in 11 weeks and I have picked the name Grayson/Greyson for him but undecided on how to spell it, so how would you spell it?

The A looks better.

Grayson.

amck5700 · 21/08/2012 20:43

well, grey is the more common spelling of the colour in the UK and its more gray in the USA. That said, the surname I think is common for either and that is what the forename is based on.

Personal view is that Grayson looks nicer.

Losingmygrip · 21/08/2012 20:43

I would go with Greyson

MrsLettuce · 21/08/2012 20:44

I agree, Grayson is nicer.

Grayson, like Grayson Perry.

Greyson looks wrong.

BikeMedalsRunningMedals · 21/08/2012 20:46

Grayson

NellyBluth · 21/08/2012 20:51

Grayson.

steakplease · 21/08/2012 20:52

now to make myself sound crazy....

I like the look of Grayson with the A but don't really like the look of Gray for short as I hate the name Graham.
I prefer Grey for short but don't like the look of Greyson as much as I do Grayson but then Grey could look like I've named him after that poxy book!

amck5700 · 21/08/2012 21:27

...........or don't shorten it in writing!!!

Badgerina · 21/08/2012 21:54

Well, Grayson Perry spells it with an "a", so I'd go with that Grin
