Is Beatrice ever not shortened?

Beatrice is on our shortlist for dd due any day. I know a few but they are all bea which is ok but not as nice as Beatrice. But maybe Beatrice is too formal left as it is. Any thoughts welcome?

The Beatrice I know is always called Beatrice by her parents but is called Bea at school.

Trixie is another nickname.

The Beatrice I know is shortened to Beatie

I know one that is (so far) not shortened. the nickname she does have is a family/unrlated one.

only young though - just finished reception. so maybe time will tell. but she is adamant her name is Beatrice, not any other shortening.

I know a Beatrice who is only that, Beatrice. It's not exactly hard to say, is it?

I think Bea is quite likely.

It must be annoying for people who don't want a nickname to have to keep asking people not to use one.

I know 2 - one whose name doesn't get shortened, the other whose name is shortened (by her parents) to bay-a (Bea with an accent over the e) which I think is lovely.
But yeah it probably will get shortened - my name gets shortened in a number of ways and it's pretty easy to say and only 2 syllables. Doesn't bother me at all, but my Mum finds it weird sometimes -she's got a thing about never shortening any of our names.

Beattie in my family.

I know two (both in their 30s) and they're always known as Beatrice, never a nn.

I know one Beatrice that is called Bice. She's Italian, so it's pronounced in italian way. I didn't know for ages that Beatrice was her name as none ever called her anything else but Bice.
