Need help with a name don't even have short list.

Had 20 week scan on Friday and it appears we are having a girl. Already have 2ds and was adamant this would be ds3, apparently this is not the case. Had not even discussed girls names as there are no girls in DP's family so it was a foregone conclusion this would be another boy.

I have a Rowan and a Sebastian and need a girls name, dp's surname is quite long 3 syllables. All suggestions will be great fully received.

Ones that I think might go with your DS's names:

Juliet
Bethany
Stephanie
Sophia
Raphaella
Beatrice (love the shortening of this to Bea)
Tamsin
Tamara

Could be an endless list though! Do you mind how popular the name is?

Dinosaurdrip · 12/08/2012 18:15

Would prefer not so popular but Sebastian seems to have grown in popularity since we chose it so if I loved something popular I would not dismiss it. Love some of the names on that list and Sophia is a favourite of mine but DP sys no.

Sophia a lovely name but very popular now, although you're right you can never tell which unusual names will be popular in the future.

I was thinking a name starting with a T might be good - as nicely follows on from R and S...?! I'm personally trying to avoid mine having a name starting with the same letter just so when they get post it doesn't get confusing when they get older. What does your surname start with? There's another new-ish post on here too with some names you might like.

PotteringAlong · 12/08/2012 18:25

Isobella (if you like Sophia)?
Julia?
Esther?

Dinosaurdrip · 12/08/2012 18:30

I thought about the T name too but have not seen many that both of us like. Will have a look on the other post too thank you. Surname starts with a w think actor Forrest.

Wow thank you so much, some some proper beauties in their and some that I don't feel I can use due to friends etc having the same or similar names for their little ones. Now the job is to find one that DP likes too. Wish me luck. Grin
