This is DH final choices and I have been left to decide what do you all think?

Middle name nearly decided and will begin with M

Order of preference:
Venetia
Felicia
Sophia
Philippa
Ophelia
All nice names though

Venetia.

I like Philippa and Sophia best.

Philippa - lovely and Pippa is a great nickname
Venetia - venetian blinds
Sophia - lovely name
Felicia - OK although Felicity nicer IMHO
Ophelia - OK

Sophia or philippa.

All lovely! I like Venetia best, followed by Sophia and Philippa. Felicia is a tad frillier than the others, and Ophelia doesn't work with some surnames.

Always LOVED Philippa. Feminine but strong, unfussy/unpretentious, beautiful.

All your names are lovely, but I just don't like Ophelia's end so no to Ophelia.

Is there a nn for Ophelia?

Venetia and Philippa are both lovely. I like the others as well but those two best. Not so much Ophelia though.

Ophelia is asking for nasty puns and is also ill-starred, which would put it out of consideration for me. The rest are fine.

Thank you so much everyone, Ophelia now off the list and looks like Felicia will probably be vetoed as well.

So just have to decide between Venetia, Philippa and Sophia sooo hard I like them all!

Venetia I don't like at all!

They are all rather lovely. Like Georgette Heyer heroines. Favourites are Philippa, Sophia and Ophelia.

I love Sophia. I'd stay well clear of Felicia and Ophelia for the reasons mentioned above, which is a shame as very lovely names. Venetia very beautiful. Philippa always makes me think of a daughter of Phillip in the same way as the lovely Nigella being daughter of Nigel Lawson seems a bit, well, egotistical on his part! (Aurelia??)
(or maybe I'm just sensitive as I have a crap first name )

Venetia is too close to Venetian blinds!
Ophelia is very pretentious imo
Phillipa is quite horsy
Felicia is too close to fellatio

Sophia is gorgeous

Obviously all just my opinions!

NFK yes I see what you mean about Georgette Heyer - adore her but DH clearly not so keen! Philippa would be after Philippa Garrett.

Oh and Sophia is a family name.

i really like Ophelia despite connotations.

Phillila - it does actually mean ' lover of horses' I think. Pippa is lovely nn.
