I like Jennifer, its old skool. Not to many about, it is solid and can be shortened quite nicely.

Alexis (eek) nice name but its too dynasty for me.

Kimberly....Its a bit 'wet' for me. 'kim' is stronger.

What about Alexandra instead of Alexis.

I'm not too keen on Alexis, though; I prefer Alexandra or Alexa. I also like Andrea.

Jenni James is a cute NN for Jennifer James, but I'd go with Jennifer as the name on her BC :)

Jennifer is my favourite. I think Jen is a lovely simple nickname.

Jenna James - isn't that a porn star? I can't google, am at work. Jenny James is fine but Jenni isn't.

I'm biased because I have a two year old Jennifer - but I think it's the best name!!
She gets Jenny (y not i) or Jen as NN. I love the name as its classic but not very common (only one in the school I teach in, which has 400 pupils).

I love Alexis, like Jennifer and am not keen on Kimberly
