Pronounced Loren as in Sophie Loren not Lauren.

I knew a Loren when I was younger and she was just fabulous.

Thoughts appreciated :)

Lovely idea but think ppl will prob still pronounce it lauren. But as its a middle name its not likely to be said by many other ppl. I'm of the view that as long as YOU love it then it doesn't matter a shit what anyone else thinks.

Yes, it's fine.

Loren, spelled like that, is sometimes used as a male name - I think it's Scandinavian. It's pronounced the same as "Lauren".

Lo-REN would spend her entire life correcting the pronunciation of her name.

Not keen on that pn. at all. Seems a little like being different for the sake of it. What would be the reason for choosing it over he more common pn?
