I really like this with the middle name Elena or Emma (swaying slightly more towards Elena.)
I like it because it's not popular but not unheard of. Dh 'quite likes it' but can't decide.

What does everyone else think?

We have a Felicity Faith aged 3 who calls herself Sissy! I hate the NN Flick and usually call her Flissy or Floss. My dad calls her Filly.

My Felicity is 2 tomorrow. Only ever had nice reactions about her name apart from MIL who visibly recoiled in horror and asked if we were kidding (persuaded all the more it was a fine name if MIL hated it). MN is Violet. We're not pony club types at all, we go on all inclusive holidays to Majorca!

Her nn is Fliss Floss or Miss Fliss. Never met one under 30. We have a sea of Ava's, Eva's, Olivia's and Grace's in our circle of friends, all lovely names just over used.

My DD is Felicity, nn Lissie. I was worried about the nicknames she would get. My family and friends call her Lissie or Liss most of the time. Nobody ever calls her Flick, Fliss, Floss etc.

I like it but do associate it with women of my mother's generation (it's a friend's mother's name)

Liss is a nice nn

Lissie is a nice nickiname :)

Whitershadeofpale · 01/08/2012 17:18

I like it but hate all the associated nns.

Love it.

What other nicknames are there?

Read a book once where a Felicity was called 'cici' but never knew how it would be pronounced (Kissy? Sissy? Sea-sea?)
