Well the last name looks a bit rude. All those asterixes.

But I quite like Scarlet.

But not Scarlett (she'l be forever saying 'with 2 t's)

Handsfullandrunningforgold · 29/07/2012 20:40

Grin Bombastic
I like it.

BillyBollyBandy · 29/07/2012 20:40

Scarlett is usually with two "t"'s I thought?

Not keen on the name myself but goes fine with Isabelle

VoldemortsOlympicNippleRings · 29/07/2012 20:47

Bombastic, I thorght you meant Isabelle sounded rude.

Scarlett Is a Bell! :o

I like it by the way OP. DD has a name, which was the only one we could agree on.

VolAuVent · 29/07/2012 21:00

Sounds like a very nice name. Even nicer with Isabella as middle name.

shoobidoo · 29/07/2012 21:02

I don't really like Scarlett - it sounds like a little scar to me.

Isabelle is lovely and feminine though.

scottishmummy · 29/07/2012 21:12

Really dislike Scarlett, nickname Scar?

Westcountrylovescheese · 30/07/2012 07:49

...you do know that one of the recent Eastenders babies is called Scarlett don't you...? There may be an upsurge in popularity.

nelly83 · 30/07/2012 13:05

No i didnt know that Westcountry :( i dont watch soaps. hope it doesnt rise too much in popularity. i'm a teacher so choosing a name that isnt popular is difficult enough!!

anyone got any other ideas for me? I really want Isabelle as a middle name for family reasons.

thanks

How about:

Clara
Sophia
Eliza

pigleychez · 30/07/2012 18:48

West country- Yeah my MIL has mentioned that about both my DD's names as they both are characters in soaps.
She seemed to think I choose them because of that!?

She didnt seem to get that every character has to have a name and it just happened to be the same as ours! Plus they are quite normal/everyday names so going to be used!

Personally not so keen on Scarlet but Isabelle is lovely.
If you like Isabelle then how about it for a first name instead?
