I like it!!! :)

Ambrosius · 26/07/2012 12:37

Like it, prefer "Lucien" spelling though :)

shimmy0 · 26/07/2012 12:37

It just reminds me of the name Lucifer everytime I see it :-( sorry just too close to that.

Lottapianos · 26/07/2012 12:37

Love it, but I would spell it 'Lucien' too Smile

HappyJoyful · 26/07/2012 12:39

great name. love, love, love Luca, had a girl though

IslaValargeone · 26/07/2012 12:39

To me it doesn't seem very manly.

rachel234 · 26/07/2012 13:12

Love Lucian. Lovely meaning (light) too!

(Lucien seems the French spelling, like Sebastien)

EllenJaneisnotmyname · 26/07/2012 13:51

I knew a Lucian at primary school, brothers, Crispin, Julian and Simon. It always seemed a little wet to me, sorry.

BeattieBow · 26/07/2012 13:59

Are you pronouncing it "looshun" or "lou-see-un"?

I had it on my list but had a dd. I prefer the second pronunciation I think, but not sure that is correct for that spelling.

badtime · 26/07/2012 14:06

I prefer the spelling 'Lucian', and I have never heard of anyone pronouncing it as 'loo-shun'.

Paddocks1 · 26/07/2012 14:16

I like the spelling Lucian also and hoping it will be pronounced 'loo-see-un' but we shall see! x

I've always liked it but think it's massively poncey if you're English and will make you sound like a knob

openerofjars · 26/07/2012 16:28

Love love love it, it was one of my top names if DD had been a boy. Okay, so DH vetoed it, because he has no taste, but I think it's ace.

dillnameddog · 26/07/2012 17:08

I know a little Lucian. Think it is a gorgeous name.
