Just found out baby is a girl and really struggling with find any names we like at all!

DD1 who we sadly lost due to pre-eclampsia was Madison Hope
DD2 is Iona Jane
DS is Alexander Thomas

So we need another girls names, we quite like but can't use Isla, Alice and Lara - any suggestions really greatly appreciated! :)
Thank you :)

Eloise?

I am sorry to hear of the loss of your daughter. Wishing you all the best with this pregnancy.

I'm finding it difficult to gauge your style from the names you've posted but here are some that I think might work well with your children's names:

Ada
Adeline
Amy
Annabel
Anwen
Bonnie
Celia
Clara
Cordelia
Emerson
Emma
Fenella
Frieda
Georgia
Gwendolen
Harriet
Hazel
Imogen
Juliet
Layla
Lucy
Lydia
Maisie
Megan
Phoebe
Rhiannon
Sadie
Susannah
Sylvia
Tamsin
Tessa
Willa

I've tried to suggest quite short names as that seems to be mostly what you like but since you chose Madison and Alexander, I've included some longer ones as well.

Sorry if some of these are way off the mark in terms of your taste!

Ava / Eva / Evie
Isobel

Lydia
Bethany / Bethan
Amelia
Yasmin
Opal
Rosa
Betsy
Clara
Freya
Gracie / Grace
Harriet
Mia

thank you :)
lots there we have added to a 'maybe' list but nothing leaps out at all - trying to avoid anything too popular as I was one of 4 in my class at school with my name so want to avoid that if possible!

on the draft list we had
freya (too popular?)
grace (same?)
Amy
like Penelope/penny, but not sure
Elizabeth - like can be lots of nicknames if needed

Phoebe - love it but used it for the cat :(
Lucy and Megan I like but DH doesnt :(
like Mia and Ava will add to list, not sure how popular they are?
not sure on Hazel....

thank you :) anymore really appreciated!

I too am really struggling with girls names. We agreed on a boys name straight away that we both love but have now found out it's a girl and nothing is jumping out at us. I'm waiting for the Eureka moment when we find the name..hopefully it'll happen! Here's a list of names that have been vetoed by one or the other of us for various (not always logical) reasons....
Annabelle
Imogen
Sarah
Sally
Madeleine
Harriet
Emma
Emily
Leila
Lydia
Juliana

On your list I would probably go with Amy...it's simple, pretty, well known but not too common/popular so she wouldn't be one of many at school. It's just the kinda of thing we're looking for but our surname has an 'M' in it so names like Amy/Emma don't sound right. I'll be keeping an eye on here for inspiration! Good Luck. Smile

fairimum · 20/07/2012 13:03

ooo like Orla, but don't think DH will.... will put it on the list! :)

Geranium3 · 20/07/2012 20:07

Catriona?
Good luck!

Geranium3 · 20/07/2012 20:09

Oops catriona too similar to your dd2's name, sorry!

GnocchiNineDoors · 20/07/2012 20:16

I have a Phoebe Cat too, OP, which I would have used on DD if we hadn't used it on the cat already. DD is Meg Alice Surname which we just love.

I also like (it seems we have similar taste)
Aoife
Sylvie
Maggie
Florence
Erin
