If all goes to plan, me and DP are hoping to start ttc in June 2013 and I want to start making lists of names Grin

I have my lists in alphabetical order but enjoy looking at names, so I will start -

Felicity
Faith
Anna

Thomas
... Stuck.

Winnie (Winifred)
Romilly
Lois

Caspar
Ralph
Raoul

TwllBach · 15/07/2012 21:09

How do you pronounce Lois? When I lived near London I heard it pronounced low-iss, like Lois Lane, but here in north Wales it's pronounced Loyss

Nancy
Eliza
Lois

Milo
Ezra

Oh Nancy is going on my list!

DP likes Theo but not theodore, but his surname starts with an 'oh' sound. Theo Oh--- sounds silly Sad

Louisa
Elizabeth
Sarah

Nicholas
Matthew
James

CalamityJones · 15/07/2012 22:12

Nancy is so lovely. My dh utterly vetoed it but I still hanker after a dd called Nancy (wistful)...

bigbluebump · 15/07/2012 22:13

Why don't you look at last years' ONS lists of ALL baby names used and choose the names that YOU and your DH love. We all have different tastes, thankfully Smile.

Ham69 · 15/07/2012 22:14

Cecilly
Clementine
Lucia

Ezra
Benedict
Felix

bigbluebump · 15/07/2012 22:14

See, I really dislike Nancy for example. Reminds me of an American housewife.

ChoccyJules · 15/07/2012 22:15

Emily
Imogen
Rose

Reuben
Oliver
Daniel

CalamityJones · 15/07/2012 22:16

Oh, I forgot clemency. Clemency trumps Nancy but wouldn't work with my surname

TwllBach · 15/07/2012 22:21

Because I'm a bit lazy BigBlue Grin I'm watching a film and MNing on my phone, so find the ONS site a bit difficult to navigate. I also enjoy seeing different peoples tastes.

Although if you want to link it for me I would happily try again Grin

My fantasy baby names for babies I'll probably never have:

Constance
Liberty
Celestine

(middle names Rose, Charlotte, Teresa)

George
Henry
Benjamin

(middle names John-Paul, Augustine, Theodore)

hypoxia · 15/07/2012 23:22

also Florence. I know it's become common but I have to have the name Florence in there somewhere!

winkle2 · 15/07/2012 23:29

Joseph
Jai

Ursula
Alisha

hypoxia · 15/07/2012 23:39

Argh, I forgot Peregrine!

Okay, so my imaginary twins are going to be called Florence Liberty and John-Paul Peregrine. Final answer.
