If I call my son Henry will he get bullied?

I'm new to Mumsnet but am in desparate need of help!
Our baby is due in a month and we had settled on the name 'Henry', but recently I've been worrying people will call him 'Horrid Henry'.

Does anyone have any experience of this?

No, I know a Henry , he is seven and has had no problems over his name at school- and he loves the horrid Henry books!!

I love Henry. But my husband vetoed all names that appear in Thomas the tank Engine.

Go for it... Horrid Henry didn't cross my mind.

It's on the rise in mc areas - he probably won't be alone, in a good way. I think it's a really lovely name!

God no ..perfectly normal name..friends son is Henry ..no problems afaik
