Why top ten names are fine!

Found this blog and loved it - it's American but thought I should share. The whole site is great but this is about why popular names should be fine to use (even though I know Mumsnetters hate the idea of their child not being unique)

That's brilliant! I often think along the same lines when people say they would NEVER pick a name from the top 10/50/100 or whatever. My DD1 has a top 25 name and is the only one in her whole reception year of 90. She was the only one in her nursery/preschool and we have only met two others since she was born!
