Can I ask you what you think about Lia, as a shortened form of Callia? I adore the name Callia and all its shortened forms of Cally, Callie etc but I have two friends with DDs called Cally.

I do however really like Lia. Would Callia Rose, shortened to Lia, be OK?

I love the name Lia, was on our shortlist. I'm Estonian so Lia is a full name for us...I know 4 of them (one is 80, one is 57, one is 32 and one is 5-never heard of any of them having to explain how to pronounce it etc). I think it's a beautiful name by itself or as a NN. Anyone who doesn't know how to pronounce Lia has major problems :)

See I really don't like Leah but like the op I think Lia is lovely :) Callia is very pretty too. Are you gonna go with it?
