It's my impression that this name seems to be fairly popular at the mo - just wondering how many you know and whereabouts you live. I know of 3, in and around south-east London.

I've only met one - Mumsnet led me to believe every Tom Dick and Harry in England had been renamed Theo so I avoided it for DS.

Love it.

One 3 year old Theo, and one old man Theo who died a couple of years ago. Also one female Thea, about 7 years old.

Only one. Love the name but it's rubbish with our surname Sad.

Have a look on the ONS website (you can see excactly how many Theos and Theodores were born in each year), but I know a lot of little Theos. I think the footballer Theo Walcott has made the name 'trendy' over the past few years. I'd choose something less 'fashionable' personally.

I know one Theo who is nearly two. He is just Theo, not short for Theodore.

I love it, great name!

None. NW.

Have just been on holiday and am now heartily sick of hearing the following names:

Archie, alfie, olivia, Isla, Imogen, Jayden, Maddox, Isobel, Isabella, Ruby, Oliver.

There were loads of them.

I don't know any where I am, but know a Theo who's 8 (9?) in Scotland and a Theodore who's 16. The Theodore goes by Ted though, so may not count for your research!

I'm in the South East and I know one Theo my age (25) and one who is 6.
