It's my impression that this name seems to be fairly popular at the mo - just wondering how many you know and whereabouts you live. I know of 3, in and around south-east London.

None, think I met one several years ago.

chickydoo · 24/06/2012 12:55

My 8 yr old is Theodore
One other in the school
SW London

WinkyWinkola · 24/06/2012 13:39

My 7 year ds is Theodore. I know of a five year old Theo. That's all.

PuffPants · 24/06/2012 13:50

I've only met one - Mumsnet led me to believe every Tom Dick and Harry in England had been renamed Theo so I avoided it for DS.

Love it.

CuppaTeaJanice · 24/06/2012 13:50

One 3 year old Theo, and one old man Theo who died a couple of years ago. Also one female Thea, about 7 years old.

SurprisinglyCurvaceousPirate · 24/06/2012 13:52

Only one. Love the name but it's rubbish with our surname Sad.

Cupcakes24 · 24/06/2012 13:52

one - he's lovely, southwest

PandaG · 24/06/2012 13:53

1 under 5 Theo, a couple 5-12 Theos, also a couple of Theas and a Theane (all 8 and under)

I work in a pre-school with 60 odd children and have 2 DC 10 and 12

rachel1970 · 24/06/2012 14:06

Have a look on the ONS website (you can see excactly how many Theos and Theodores were born in each year), but I know a lot of little Theos. I think the footballer Theo Walcott has made the name 'trendy' over the past few years. I'd choose something less 'fashionable' personally.

RobinSparkles · 24/06/2012 14:08

I know one Theo who is nearly two. He is just Theo, not short for Theodore.

I love it, great name!

IwishIwasmoreorganised · 24/06/2012 14:13

One is ds's classs who is 4. I don't know of any others around us here in South East Wales.

I think it's a lovely name.

MousyMouse · 24/06/2012 14:23

three of them under 5.

MaryAnnSingleton · 24/06/2012 14:24

my ds is 15 and a Theo - there is a Theodore in his year and that's it (a Thea too, which is lovely name) I know of one baby Theo too.

gardenpixies32 · 24/06/2012 14:52

I taught one about 5 years ago, he must be about 18 now - London

I know a 2 year old Theo - Southwest.

PomBearWithAnOFRS · 24/06/2012 14:58

Two, one of them is the son of a TA at my DCs school and the other is the son of a friend of mine who lives on the Isle of Wight.

MaryAnnSingleton · 24/06/2012 15:02

forgot to say- we lived in W London when ds was born and now in Hampshire.

rachel1970 · 24/06/2012 15:05

Astr0naut · 24/06/2012 15:53

None. NW.

Have just been on holiday and am now heartily sick of hearing the following names:

Archie, alfie, olivia, Isla, Imogen, Jayden, Maddox, Isobel, Isabella, Ruby, Oliver.

There were loads of them.

BringBack1996 · 24/06/2012 15:59

I don't know any where I am, but know a Theo who's 8 (9?) in Scotland and a Theodore who's 16. The Theodore goes by Ted though, so may not count for your research!

applepieinthesky · 24/06/2012 16:11

I'm in the South East and I know one Theo my age (25) and one who is 6.
