Can't decide between Amelia (shortened to Amelie) or Charlotte?

Both are lovely, sorry I know that's no help

Amelia

Amelia

I prefer Charlotte (and Lottie is a sweet nickname). There are soooo many Amelias where I live and to me it's similar to Emily but less pretty.

I've never heard Amelia shortened to Amelie - thought that was a separate name?

PepperOnMyPaprikash · 14/06/2012 18:00

Charlotte, and love Lottie as a nickname

PoppyWearer · 14/06/2012 18:11

Amelia shortens to Millie, surely? Very common here too.

Love Charlotte > Lottie.

I like both but don't think Amelia shortens to Amelie. There are a lot of them around though. I like Charlotte/Lottie too - nice choices :)

CharlieBoo · 16/06/2012 19:27

Charlotte is much nicer, Amelia/Milly 10 a penny here.

Charlotte - not a fan of Amelia
