Was told about a poor little girl called this the other day.

Was my family BU to laugh a lot at this unfortunate name? When I was a little girl your tuppence was your fanny!

It must be inflation when I was young my dad used to tell me to "keep your hand on your ha'penny if you are cuddlin' with a lad!"

I know a dog named Tuppence (usually written as 2p). She is well grumpy.

Oh dear.

When my little 3 year old girl needs a wee and we're not near the loo, I say to her 'my darling, can you hold your tuppence?'

So to my mind it's a cute word for your fanjo :-/

A Tuppence is a fanny without doubt.

There is a 10yr old in DS class who used to be called Tuppence. It was as a nn for her full name (Penelope) she now insists on going by Pen or Nel. Anyone brave enogh to call her Tuppence is liable to have their teeth knocked out(ds says she reeeealy good at Judo)Grin.
