Where in the UK (preferably Herts or Wilts) can you ride on Thomas the Tank Engine?

Odd request, sorry.

We took DD on a train yesterday and she was bitterly disappointed that it was not Thomas. She got over it and enjoyed herself, but we are in the UK in July and I thought it might be nice to find a Thomas to take her on. I have seen one in Yorkshire, I think. Are there any in either Hertfordshire or Wiltshire?

Google 'Thomas Day Out' - they do days all over the country. At our one you see Thomas and Percy and a ride in a steam train.

Also, Drayton Manor I think has Thomas Land which might be worth a shot?

We've been to the ones at Peterborough and Northampton. DS loved it. I know more about locomotives than I ever thought I'd want to know.

But Didcot Railway centre (15 min train ride from Swindon) have got a Thomas Weekend in October.

Also, if you have a real thomas fan - then Butlins do a daily Thomas show. That's not Wilts either, but I live just outside north Wilts and it takes about 1.5 hours to get to Bognor, so that may be worth a day out...? There'll be lots of other fun things to do as well.

Paradise Wildlife Park in Broxbourne has a teeny tiny mini railway, and the train engines looked vaguely thomas like to me. convinced DS anyway :o and quite a fun day out too.

Day Out With Thomas at the Watercress Line in mid-east Hampshire here - mid to end August though. Was v good when we went last year.
