Will this go with our surname?

We're thinking of Francesca for a girl's name but are unsure as our surname begins with G (eg Green). We love the name but it does 'catch' a bit in the middle doesn't it? Would you think this is weird?

oh, I like the 'catch' - it prevents the name from blurring together. So you're forced to say "Francesca. Green." rather than (say) "Francescasmith".

The catch does make it a bit awkward to say, but if it's your favourite name it could be hard to think of something else!

Frances Green might flow better?

It sounds better rather than worse I think.
