Suggest me some boys names!

PFB (boy) is due in 3 weeks and DH and I can't agree on a name.... or even on a shortlist.

Would like to find something a bit unusual (I was always one of about 5 girls with my name in my school year and hated it) but at the same time not too 'out there'. DH is Irish & we live in Ireland (I'm English) - we do like Irish/celtic names but that's not an essential criteria.

Middle name likely to be Thomas (a family name) and our surname is similar to Connery

To give an idea, names that have been bandied about so far include....

Ciarán (but not sure would sound right with surname?)
Oisín (I love this, but worry about pronounciation should we end up living back in England at some point)

your list looked a bit like our short list. We have a Fabian and a Rafe (Raphael) We also considered Simeon, Saul, Nye, William, Billy.

Have vetoed all variations on William tho due to it being the name of a boy I hated at school!

hmmm.
Don't use Flynn. It's an Irish surname and I think that would raise eyebrows a bit.
I think Evan is a bit wet and I think Aaron is too.
