Here's the shortlist of baby names I'm considering.

I'm new to mumsnet, 32 weeks pregnant and don't know what we're having..need names!!! Nic xx

I think all three are lovely, though marginally prefer Seth over Herbie!

Seth is lovely - classic and not overused.

Herbie (along with Alfie, Archie etc.) is too trendy imo, as is Amelie.

I love Amelie but it is fairly popular if that bothers you. Other French girls names you might consider are: Elodie, Amandine, Clementine, Camille, Adeline, Margot, Beatrice, Delphine, Emilie, Helene, Laeticia, Nadine, Aurelie.

I like Amelie and Seth but don't like Herbie.

Seth and Amelie are both lovely, not quite so keen on Herbie.

Seth - like, nice classic name
Herbie - OK but too nicknamey, would need full name (Herbert?)
Amelie - OK but faddy, prefer Amelia/Emilia
