Looking for a one syllable middle name not May or Rose

Have decided on a name for baby if it is dd. First name and surname long so want a short one syllable middle name. Ideally old testament or with a nod to Jewish roots, can't begin with R a need to differentiate initials from dd and their first names will begin with same letter. All help appreciated.

ooh that's a hard one. I was going to suggest Ruth but you don't want it beginning with an 'r'

How about Leah? I know it's not 1 syllable but it is short and biblical (I think?!)

My middle name is Gal (גַּל) - meaning 'wave'

Gil (גִּיל) - 'happiness'

Ziv (זִיו) - 'brilliant, bright'

Ma'or (מָאוֹר) - 'light'

Or maybe they're all a bit too Hebrew?

Drat, sorry - the numbers inside the parentheses were the Hebrew from which the English is transliterated - should've known MN wouldn't support them.
