Welsh and Irisih names for a boy

Well the title says it all really. Are there any good'uns out there. We prefer strong and powerful names (preferably not more than 2 syllables). Hope you can help!

Hmm... wasn't paying attention and saw there is an Irish one already running. Let's make this into primarily Welsh names then!

Llewelyn - more than 2 syllables but can be shortened to Llew which means Lion.

Aneurin, again too many syllables but shortened to Nye would be ok. And very strong, positive associations.
