Annabelle or Anna?

DC3 is due in 2 weeks and DH and I still can't decide on a girls name. If its a boy, we're going for Sebastian Thomas. I liked Charlotte but DH doesn't like it. He liked Stella but I wasn't keen. DH really likes Anna Lucille, which I agree is a lovely combination but middle names very rarely come into use apart from when we're making these decisions!

With Charlotte, I was going to go for Charlotte Belle. If we had Annabelle, then DH can call her Anna and I can call her Belle Grin. I do like Anna but is it boring??

Anne is very pretty actually.

bonnie

yes, I am Grin

I have always been in a minority with myname - I only knew of one other anne at school - so kind of like it - as it wasn't one of the usual names.

Anna is far superior, imo. It is clasic and timeless.

Annabel/Annabelle everywhere now and it is a bit twee and very faddy.

Anneliese or the anglicisation of Annalise is nice.

I also know a little Anya, which is lovely.

hmm interesting you say that MagsAloof, Annalise is also on our list! Need to sleep on it a bit more I think. Was up last night with cramps and back pain so hopefully we'll have decided before he or she makes an appearance. Might be a Sebastian anyway!

Prefer Anna but can see why you'd like to add the Belle as that's your own choice. However personally I think Annabelle is definitely too flouncy.

If you find Anna a bit dull what about Anya instead?

In other words, I second MagsAloof!
