After more consideration I most like (no order of preference)

Lydia Beatrice

Lydia Esme

Lydia Lois

Which do you think is best?

Thanks

Real life Lydias from the Telegraph: Lydia Ellen, Lydia Christine, Lydia Briony, Lydia Katherine, Lydia Iona, Lydia Jane, Lydia Rose, Lydia Margaret, Lydia Rebecca, Lydia Claire Marie-Laure, Lydia Sarah, Lydia Charlotte Loveday, Lydia Alice Anne.

Lydia Beatrice is my favourite of your options.

minouminou · 25/04/2012 14:23

Lydia Lois doesn't work. I like Lydia Beatrice most.

BBQJuly · 25/04/2012 14:49

Lydia Beatrice :)

Don't like Esme, and Lydia Lois is too much of a mouthful.

Spookey80 · 25/04/2012 14:58

Lydia Beatrice IMO.

minouminou · 25/04/2012 15:21

Think we're seeing a trend here.

Positiveplus · 25/04/2012 16:26

Yep - Lydia Beatrice!

joymaker · 25/04/2012 18:28

'tis my DP's favourite of the three also Smile

Lydia Grace flows nicely, so does Lydia Fay - one syllable works best IMO

PotteringAlong · 25/04/2012 19:15

Lydia Alice?
Lydia Ann?

CotedePablo · 25/04/2012 19:36

I agree with the idea of a one syllable name to go with Lydia, and don't particularly like any of those you've mentioned. How about Lydia Jane/Jayne?

MakesCakesWhenStressed · 25/04/2012 19:45

Lydia Rose popped into my head when I saw the thread title

AceOfBase · 25/04/2012 19:48

Wickham :o
Beatrice is best of those you've chosen but i agree with makescakes that rose suits it better

bigfunnylass · 25/04/2012 20:05

i too thought of "rose" as soon as Lydia was mentioned

TheDowager · 25/04/2012 21:12

I thought Lydia Grace as soon as I read the thread title ...

GRW · 25/04/2012 21:58

I nearly called my DD Lydia Helen, but chose Helen as a first name in the end

plantsitter · 25/04/2012 22:01

I like Lydia Beatrice but can't it be Beatrix just because x is such a cool letter to have in your name?!

Noggie · 27/04/2012 21:49

Another vote for Lydia Beatrice!

eatyourveg · 27/04/2012 21:52

I thought Rose straight away too

keepyourselfalive · 27/04/2012 22:12

Lydia Beatrice sounds lovely!

lunamoon · 28/04/2012 00:54

I also thought Rose.

EduStudent · 28/04/2012 01:10

Rose was the first thing that came to me too!

TheGrandOldDuke · 28/04/2012 17:28

I love the name Lydia, but my mum has ruined it for me! sigh sometimes it's better to keep it as a surprise so no one can ruin it!!!

I like Lydia Esme.

EssieW · 28/04/2012 17:31
