I love Freya.

I also like that the names are not matching pairs.

What about

Orla
Alice
Matilda

yousankmybattleship · 12/04/2012 18:35

Flora? Too many Fs maybe!

Beatrice?

I'll stop now!

DesperatelySeekingDistraction · 12/04/2012 18:37

If you love Freya then I second Freya and Orla.

Or:

Freya and Clara
Freya and Flora (if you don't mind the alliterative element)
Freya and Nina
Freya and Esme

PineCones · 12/04/2012 18:38

Freya and Rose.
Freya and Lila.

lemniscate · 12/04/2012 18:39

I really like Gracie. Grace a little bit girly as if she wouldn't get her hands dirty in the mud but Gracie sounds more mischievous somehow. Yet still works well for a grown up. I have always liked Ava even though it is very popular now.

How about Olivia, Lucy, Beatrice, Susanna/Susie? I think they all go with Freya.

PineCones · 12/04/2012 18:40

Lily and Freya.

seren82 · 12/04/2012 19:31

Freya and Clara sounds lovely

SkiBumMum · 12/04/2012 19:46

Freya and Zoe

Stellan · 12/04/2012 20:36

Freya is a proper name - good for babies, children, adults. I think a lot of the other names you like are lovely and very cute but not in the same league as Freya. Names like Evie and Maisie just don't have the same 'will grow with the child' vibe as Freya. I'd use:
Freya & Isobel
Freya & Grace

Ava's nice but sounds too much like Freya. Freya & Amalia would be very nice as would Freya & Amélie but I don't much care for Amalie. The spelling seems a little 'creative' to me.

My choice would be Freya & Violet - two gorgeous names for your baby girls.

Stellan · 12/04/2012 20:43

Just noticed that you said you're open to suggestions so here are some names I like paired with Freya:

Freya & Annabel
Freya & Carys (or Charis)
Freya & Elsa
Freya & Helena
Freya & Honora
Freya & Isadora
Freya & Martha
Freya & Matilda
Freya & Romilly or Romola

eatyourveg · 12/04/2012 20:59

Have you considered Violet as a first name nn Lettie?

Violet Grace and Alice Rose

NotsoYoung · 12/04/2012 23:24

I like all your suggestions, my friend has a daughter named Freya. I'm in the same boat as you, trying to pick names for ID girls, it's not easy lol

LaDiDaDi · 12/04/2012 23:32

Freya Grace & Lydia Violet
Freya violet & Mya Grace
Freya Violet & Harriet Grace
Freya Violet & Laura Isobel
Freya Grace & Esme Violet

goingmadtrying · 13/04/2012 06:04

Violet is lovely and not too old-fashioned. I have heard it a few times but not very often, and think it is very pretty. It was on my short list for DD but DH had personal reasons for not picking it so I couldn't use it :(

Stellan · 13/04/2012 10:49

Freya & Violet sounds wonderful - definitely not too old-fashioned.

victorialucas · 13/04/2012 10:55

I was going to suggest Violet before I even saw your list. It isn't too old at all. But I don't know if it goes with Freya.

Freya and Isobel go well.
