So stuck on boys names

Only about two seconds pregnant so loads of time to think about it but am so excited (if cautious) that I had to post.

If dd had been a boy she was going to be Leo but have gone of it a bit now as it seems that was our name then, not now.

Names that were in the running that we didn't love were Alexander and Edward. I like Toby but dh not sure. Can't use Joseph but think it is great. I like Adam but dh doesn't. We both like Jonathan but is it just too boring? I like David but dh doesn't like nickname Dave.

Basically am stuck. Help...

Jonathan - nice, not boring
David - very nice and underused. I know several Davids who are never called Dave
Alexander - like
Edward - like
Toby - don't like

Seems you like classic names, but not the ultra-popular ones.

How about

Luke
William
Sebastian
Samuel
Felix
Matthew
Peter
Gregory
Miles
Christopher
George
Richard
James
Nicholas
Maximilian
Thomas
Nathaniel
Henry

Jonathan - very dated/i hate it
David - hate it - off the same generation as Jonathan not quite ready for a revival yet.

Edward is nice
What about:
Edwin
Miles
Archer -Archie
Monty
Joshua
Horatio - Theo
Alfred
Finn - Finley/Finbar
Phineas - Phinn
Barnaby
Hector
Wilfred - Wilf
Rae
Harry
Noah
Henry
Charlie - Charles
Minal
Oscar
Forest
Tobias - Toby
Percy

Congratulations yellowflowers.

I like Jonathan as well and don't think it's boring, it's actually my dads name.
I really don't like David, my association is with the rough school boys and a bully.
I love Edward and all nicknames, Ted, Teddy, Ed
Not keen on Alexander it's DH's middle name!

I agree wih BBQ along your lines I also like
William
Gregory
Matthew
Rupert
Harry

Congratulations!
I love Alexander and Edward.
Not keen on Jonathan, as I think it's a funny name for an adult.
Not keen on Toby or David either.

Jonathan's lovely, Jon or Jonty for short.
