They do go well together, yes. Personally I'd use Elizabeth with Libby for short.

I like Hannah and our DD2 will be Libby. I don't like Elizabeth and think Libby is enough of a name in it's own right.

I know 2 women who are called Libby, both are very lovely, serious, mature and not overly girly. I think it is a lovely name in it's own right.
