Overdue and still a little stuck for names!

Anyone want to suggest some 11th hour names for me while I sit here, bored and fat? Grin

For a boy we're pretty certain we'll name DC2 Cormac.

For a girl, we're more stuck. DD is Bridget and we're looking at DC2 potentially being Astrid or Sadie or Magda. I also really like Saoirse but DH isn't keen.

Can anyone think of any names like the above to give DH and I food for thought while DC2 keeps us waiting?

Love Bridget! :) (DD2's middle name)

Cormac is nice too.

Máire?

Also very partial to Astrid.

Love Magda and Astrid. I'd love these for DD2 who is due tomorrow but DH will hate them as he prefers wet more feminine names like Emily and Sophie. The only one we can agree on so far is Anna.

choppychopster · 05/04/2012 14:10

Just spotted Lena and Anya above which I absolutely adore, but DH has said no. Sad

Good luck with the birth OP.

RunningLatte · 05/04/2012 14:15

Absolutely absolutely looovve Cormac and Astrid!

Happy Birth!

Isn't Magda Bridget Jones's smug married friend? So I would avoid those two as a combo - although granted, thats a pretty random association! Grin I like Astrid very much though.

thereistheball · 05/04/2012 18:56

I love Astrid

RabidEasterEgg · 05/04/2012 19:02

something seasonal like Avril or Pascale?

Thanks for the comments and suggestions everyone. Still waiting for DC2 to arrive (41+1) although I have a sweep at 12 so here's hoping that kicks things off. I mentioned Magda to my mum and sister and they were very surprisingly enthusiastic--they usually don't like my name choices. I do think a girls name is between Astrid (which we've loved for several months now) and Magda (a late addition to the list). I tend to prefer 'hard' sounding girls names, hence Bridget.
Anyway, thanks again for giving me some more names to think about! Smile
