I am expecting DC1 in May and DH and I have struggled to agree on names. We think we might have done it. I was just wondering what people thought of our choices.
For a girl we think Elsa Rose.
For a boy we think Alastair Edward.
We have a very unusual surname so think we need fairly simple and straight forward names.
Thanks

I like them both particularly your boys name. Good luck with the last month or so of your pregnancy! Am due at the end of May and have had a name (we're having a girl) since my 13 week scan but am now questioning it!

I agree; they are both lovely but the boys name I particularly like. I'm also jealous as I'm 6 days overdue with DC2 and am still stumped for girls names. Eek!

Both lovely names, esp your girls name.
Congrats!!

Both gorgeous!

I like the boys name but not Elsa-although it is an improvement on Elsie.
How about Eliza or Eloise?

SoozleQ · 04/04/2012 16:10

Our DD is Eloise Rose so I give a big thumbs up to Elsa Rose :)

Fabulous names! But I am biaised as Elsa Rose is on our shortlist as well!

And I like your choices for boys, so maybe we have similar ideas...

Our other names are: Alfie John / Arthur John / Harry John (John is a family name) and Elsa Rose / Lola Gabrielle Gibson / Milla Rose / Ruby Grace and Sofia Gabrielle (Gabrielle is my grandma's name and pronounced Gabriel).

Like Elsa but prefer Ailsa. Elsa reminds me too much of born free lion
