Help! My hubby is Colombian and we'd like a Spanish name but cannot agree on anything. Needs to be something not too religious or run of the mill. Open to all ideas. Any ideas?

Esther is lovely in the Spanish pronunciation, but it will be one of those where everyone else calls her ESS-ter and you two call her ess-TAIR.

Yes spanish names that have the ability to be pronounced in the English way are a definite no no.

Pilar reminds me of two things unfortunately - rice and a character from
Eldorado. I'm aware that these associations do not say good things about me!
