Or the other big European traditional Royal names:

Philip, Charles, William, George, Louis, Edward, Richard, Leopold?

Matilda, Margaret, Elizabeth, Mary, Victoria, Anne, Elinor?

octaviarose · 03/04/2012 20:55

Really love Paloma but was vetoed and Annabel was on our list last time but I think Isabella and Annabel sound a bit to similar?

I think Isabella and Annabel are too similar tbh

Inspired by another thread..Camille?

Camille = kam-eel

happybigbump · 03/04/2012 22:00

I think most names would 'go' with Isabella, itself being a very popular name. Maybe not another -ella or -elle name, but otherwise anything goes imo.

oreocrumbs · 03/04/2012 22:03

Catherine
James

KateF · 03/04/2012 22:06

Susannah and Philippa go with my Isabella. My boy choices were Jacob or William and the only other Isabella we know has brothers called Ben and Luke.

welovesausagedogs · 03/04/2012 22:14

Isabella and Lily
Isabella and Ivy
Isabella and Iris
Isabella and Ava
Isabella and Elfie
Isabella and Lila

Surf25 · 03/04/2012 22:30

I say Camille = calm-eel
but I'm Scottish and am aware other regions would say calm differently from me - e.g some english accents might use a a long vowel sound rather than a short one.
so think Camilla and take off the -illa and add -eel instead
think that's right!

I agree most names will sound fine alongside Isabella, which is lovely. how about Florence, Martha or Miriam?

StrawberrytallCAKE · 05/04/2012 04:30

Very interested in this thread as we are in the same position!!

My names so far are -

Girls
Alice
Ivy
Melody
Evangeline

Boys

I like Ben but that's because dd has a very good friend called Ben and 'Bella and Ben' sound lovely (there are also Bella and Ben children's books).

There is a longer list but I'm on iPhone so will post tomorrow.

modelesque · 05/04/2012 11:59

Why not use Annabel as a middle name if you like it :)

milkand2sugars · 05/04/2012 12:10
