Arlo
Adam

So what do you think ?

Love Adam but dont like the others just not my taste.

Adam is strong and manly. Agree look past the 'a's!!!

Alexis is a girls' name now? Only in Dynasty :)

Adam is nice and I also like Aaron. Not keen on the others though.

What about Alexander/Alastair?
Or Anton, Arthur, Ariel, Armand...?

Anton - Ant 'n' Dec - No
Alexis - only know this as a girl's name, which make it difficult for a boy
Aurel - Ouch! No! (Again agree with Turniphead - sounds like 'oral')
Arlo - OK
Adam - Yes!

I don't only like 'traditional' names but some of your choices sound like other things which are offputting and could lead to unpleasantness for your son.

Aresky - don't like this one (in Aus an Esky is an ice box, so it sounds like you're saying "our esky"
Anton - Very nice. Masculine and refined
Alexis - girl's name
Aurel - Sounds like oral which will lead to no end of teasing
Arlo - nice
Adam - nice so long as he's your first. A bit ordinary compared to the others.

In a asimilar vein, friends of ours have an Ari which is quite nice too.

I like Anton, Adam and Aurel (or how about Aurelien)?

Anton - I like very much

Alexis - I like very much, although there may be some confusion. Hate it when male names are hijacked for girls

Aurel - a nice name. I know an Aurel who is Belgian. Would you be pronouncing it the French way?

Arlo - seems very faddy just now, so I would avoid it.

Adam - can't really go wrong with this, it's quite timeless.
