For a half-American boy?

We have a local sleb winemaker here called Chester, he is a very um, idiosyncratic character. Def a very individual name imo.

I love the name Chester, in fact that's what I will be calling my next baby if it's a boy!

I have a 2 year old Chester. Everyone likes his name. I dont shorten it.

I know a teenage called Chester, he is English/Turkish and he is a lovely young man, real credit to his Mum... not that it helps you with choosing your name, but I thought I would chip in. :)

Chester is a nickname round here for a broad chested man.
I would also put my chesters in a bra IYKWIM.
Silly yes, but I would not use that name. Chet is not a good NN either

Not keen. Just makes me think of a puppy.

I like Chet but it seems odd to me to call a child Chester because I am English and live not far from the town of Chester - would not call a boy Manchester, Chichester or Winchester either, not to mention Wolverhampton!

I have heard of Chet as a nn for Chesney?

I love Chester and am considering it if DC2 is a boy. Had no idea it was considered American.
