madeline or madelyn to go with DD charlotte , lilian and sophia .

My DD (4 months) is Madeleine - it is constantly misspelt (Madelin/Madeline) and sometimes misponounced (Mad-uh-lain) but I love the way it looks when spelt like this. I love the names of your other daughters too, my other DD is Annabelle - both 3 syllables, 9 letters and traditional.

Even if the French way is Madeleine, I know two who spell their name Madeline.

The think I don't like about the name is the MAD part at the beginning, emphasised even more when using the nickname MADDy.
