Everywhere or off the radar?

Hi Sun, it might depend where you are, but Fern isn't a name I've come accross in a year taking DD to baby groups up to Christmas.
Lovely choice though:-)

Off the radar I think. I don't know any little Ferns.

Fern is lovely. I don't know any, and I have 4 dc, so know a lot of kids! I am in SE.

Love the name Fern! It was high on my list for dd 11 years ago, but instead I inadvertently went for a name that is now no. 1 or 2 on the list for most common popular girls names. I now don't know of any little Ferns at all and wish I had chosen it - I think you should go for it!

Have a look at the ONS list of all names last year - it should tell you excactly how many girls were named Fern.

I personally don't know any little (or old) Ferns and think it is a lovely choice! Classic underused name!

ooh i like it! What about Fearne? As in Fearne Cotton.

Oooh I love Fern. I haven't heard of any in years. Adding this to my list should I ever have a DD.
