D0oin - she feels like that now - I know I did too growing up with my name - but she will be grateful for having a non-dated, dime-a-dozen name when she is an adult.

I met a Byrony once. Yes BYrony, not Bryony. I suspect I was not the first person she had to correct in her lifetime......'no, it's BYrony actually, not Bryony'. You won't have that issue of course, but just sharing!

I quite like Bryony, but prefer Bronwyn or Bethany.
